abstract PURPOSE: To reduce coloring contamination by forming an image forming layer which contains only electron donative compound on a support, and containing as the donative compound a specific fluoran leuco dye. n CONSTITUTION: An image forming layer which contains only electron donative compound is formed on a support, and the donative compound contains fluoran leuco dye represented by a formula I. In the formula I, one of R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , R 4 , R 5 , R 6 , R 7 , R 8 and R 9 is represented by a formula II, and the residual substituent group represents hydrogen atom, aryl group, alkoxy group, cycloalkyl group, halogen group, nitro group, hydroxy group, amino group, substituted amino group, aralkyl group, substituted aralkyl group, allyl group, or substituted allyl group respectively. T 1 , T 2 and T 3 are hydrogen atom, 1-8C aryl group, 3-9C alkenyl group or 3-9C alkinyl group, T 4 is hydrogen atom, 1-8C alkyl group, 3-9C alkenyl group, 3-9C alkinyl group or phenyl group, and (n) is integer number of 0W4. Thus, coloring contamination can be reduced. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
