abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the titled inhibitor, consisting of respective ampholytic surfactants of carboxylic acid salt, sulfuric acid ester salt, sulfonic acid ester salt and phosphoric acid ester salt types and useful for inhibiting and preventing viral infection in public bathhouses, such as soap land or public bath. n CONSTITUTION: The titled inhibitor consisting of a nitrogen atom-containing ampholytic surfactant selected from the group of carboxylic acid salt type ampholytic surfactants [especially (alkylaminoethyl)glycine salts, dialkyldiethylenetriaminoacetic acids, etc.], sulfuric acid ester salt type ampholytic surfactants (e.g. N-dodecyl-N,N-dimethyl-aminoethyl sulfate), sulfonic acid ester salt type ampholytic surfactant (e.g. alkyldimethyl-γ- sulfopropylammonium) and phosphoric acid ester salt type ampholytic surfactants.
