titleOfInvention Low-molecular vegetable antimalignant tumor agent
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the titled antitumor agent containing seeds of betel palm tree, Rhei Rhizoma, talc, Bezoar Orientale and Hoelen as materials. n CONSTITUTION: The following materials are prepared. A dried material 1 of sliced pieces obtained from raw seeds of betel palm tree; a dried material 2 of cut pieces obtained by drying Rhei Rhizoma in the sun for about 2 days and aging by burying in earth; a fine powder 3 obtained by heating talc with mild heating power, such as charcoal fire, and burning the talc to assume yellow color; a fine powder 4 prepared by burning Bezoar Orientale on an inorganic pottery, such as red brick, with a mild heating power to remove cholesterol and pulverizing the resultant material a fine powder 5 obtained by drying cut pieces of raw Hoelen in the sun, adding raw pineapple juice, fermenting the resultant pieces, then drying the fermented pieces in the sun and pulverizing the dried pieces. Water is then boiled and the dried material 1 is added thereto and boiled down at 95W98°C. The dried material 2 is subsequently added thereto and boiled down. The fine powder 3 is further added and the obtained blend is stirred and filtered. The fine powder 4 is then added into the obtained hot filtrate and stirred. The fine powder 5 is subsequently added and stirred to afford a blend, which is then dried in the sun and pulverized into fine particulate form to provide the aimed low-molecular vegetable antimalignant tumor agent. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
