abstract PURPOSE: To obtain an antipruritic plaster exhibiting effective and continuous antipruritic effect, by compounding diphenhydramine or chlorpheniramine maleate to a plaster base. n CONSTITUTION: A plaster base is compounded with diphenhydramine of formula I or chlorpheniramine maleate of formula II.
