PURPOSE: To obtain a characteristic which is well-balanced enough in oxygen permeability, hardness, machinability, wearing sense, etc., by using a specific fluorinated urethane compound polymer whose oxygen permeability is satisfactory. n CONSTITUTION: The titled material consists of a polymer having a fluorinated side chain and urethane coupling, obtained by bringing an A component shown in a formula I, or ≥15wt.% A component and ≤85wt.% B component shown in the formula I to reaction and polymerization. In such a way, the oxygen permeability is high, oxygen of a sufficient quantity is replenished to the cornea through a contact lens, and accordingly, it can be worn extending over a long period of time. Also, it is tough mechanically, and also, holds softness and flexibility peculiar to a urethane compound resin, therefore, the wearing sense is satisfactory. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio |
