titleOfInvention Production of optically active (+)-cis-2,2-dimethyl-3(2-chloro-3,3,3-trifloropropenyl) cyclopropane carboxylic acid
abstract PURPOSE: To produce optically active (+)-cis-2,2-dimethyl-3-(2-chloro 3,3,3- trifloropenyl)cyclopropane carboxylic acid, by subjecting a specific compound to asymmetric hydrolysis with a specific microorganism. n CONSTITUTION: cis-2, 2-Dimethyl-3( 2-chloro-3,3,3-trifloropropenyl )cyclo-propane carboxylic ester is subjected to asymmetric hydrolysis using a microorganism belonging to the genus Arthrobacter, etc. As a result, the above-mentioned carboxylic ester is decomposed to the aimed optically active (+)-cis-2,2- dimethyl-3(2-chloro-3,3,3-trifloropropenyl)cycl-opropane carboxylic acid and ester of diastereomer thereof and the former is separated and recovered. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
