titleOfInvention Electrophotographic sensitive body
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a sensitive body having high sensitivity and superior potential stability during repeated use by incorporating an azo pigment having a specified structure into a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer contg. a disazo pigment represented by formula I is formed. In formula, each of R1 and R2 is H, alkyl, alkoxy, halogen, cyano or nitro, and R1 and R2 may be the same or different; each of A and A' is a coupler residue having phenolic OH, and the residues A, A' may be the same residues. Thus, an electrophotographic sensitive body usable for all of existing electrophotographic processes and having practical high sensitivity and stable potential characteristics during repeated use is obtd.
