abstract | PURPOSE: To allow a fertile cow to give birth to a male calf in high possibility by flushing a fertile cow with a special enriched feed before ovulation. n CONSTITUTION: A fertile cow is flushed with a feed concentrate of about 3,500kcal of digestive energy, containing 100g or less of arginine and 150g or less of digestive proteins everyday from 10W14 days before ovulation, periodically as shown in the figure. A heifer is fed with maintenance ratio for about 7W10 days form just after estrus H 1 before mating, then with enriched feed for about 10W14 days and subjected to insemination on estrus.
