abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the titled compound useful as agricultural chemicals, drugs or intermediate raw materials thereof under a mild condition in good yield and by one-stage reaction, by reacting a Schiff base compound with a silane compound and a carboxylic acid derivative. n CONSTITUTION: A compound shown by formula I [R 1 is (substituted)aryl or (substituted)heteroaryl; R 2 and R 3 are H, 1W6C alkyl or R 2 and R 3 are mutually bonded to form cyclic alkylene; R 4 is H, (substituted)1W8C alkyl or (substituted) aryl; R 5 is H or 1W6C alkyl; A is O or S; n is O or 1 (n is O when R 5 is H)] is reacted with a compound shown by the formula HSiXYZ (X, Y and Z are H or halogen) and a compound shown by the formula R 6 COM [R 6 is alkyl, alkenyl or (hetero)aryl which may be replaced, respectively; M is halogen or group shown by formula II] to give a compound shown by formula III.
