abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a color filter contg. picture elements of uniform size generating no defect of color by forming a monomolecular layer of a silane coupling agent on a transparent glass substrate, and printing each color pattern of red, green, and blue thereon. n CONSTITUTION: A monomolecular layer of a silane coupling agent is formed on a transparent glass substrate, further, each color pattern of red, green, and blue is printed thereon. Typical silane coupling agents are γ-methacryloxypropyl trimethoxysilane, N-β-(aminoethyl) γ-aminopropyl trimethoxysilane, N-β(aminoethyl)γ-aminopropylmethyl dimethoxysilane. Since the adhesion of printing ink to the glass substrate is improved by the effect of the silane coupling agent, generation of color defect due to defect of transfer of printing ink is prevented and picture elements having uniform size are obtd. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio |
