abstract PURPOSE: To easily obtain the titled large-sized molded article having high rigidity and impact resistance, by bulk-polymerizing a monomer mixture of a metathesis polymerizable cyclic compound containing dicyclopentadiene and a nadic acid diester in the presence of a metathesis polymerization catalyst. n CONSTITUTION: The objective crosslinked polymer molded article can be produced by the bulk-polymerization of (A) a monomer mixture composed of (A 1 ) 50W99mol.% at least one kind of metathesis polymerizable cyclic compound containing ≥30mol.% dicyclopentadiene as raw material monomer and (A 2 ) 50W1mol.% at least one kind of nadic acid diester in the presence of (B) a catalyst component of a metathesis polymerization catalyst system (e.g. tungsten hexachloride) and (C) an activator component (e.g. trioctylaluminum). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
