titleOfInvention Novel physiologically active polypeptide
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a human TNF protein composed of a specific amino acid sequence and having improved specific activity and stability, extended reaction spectrum and decreased side effects. CONSTITUTION:The objective physiologically active polypeptide is composed of the amino acid sequence of formula. Met may be bonded to the amino terminal of the polypeptide. A host microbial cell is transformed with a recombinant plasmid containing a DNA region coding the physiologically active polypeptide, the transformed host microbial cell is cultured and the objective physiologically active polypeptide is separated from the cultured product.
