titleOfInvention Production of lysolecithin
abstract PURPOSE: To efficiently obtain the titled compound without using a large quantity of a solvent and heavy metal salt, by reacting glycerophosphoryl choline with a fatty acid anhydride, etc., in a specific ratio in an aprotic high-polar solvent in the presence of an esterifying catalyst such as pyridine derivatives. n CONSTITUTION: 1mol. glycerophosphoryl choline is reacted with 0.7W3.5mol., preferably 1W1.5mol. anhydride or halide of a fatty acid (preferably 12W22C) in an aprotic high-polar solvent (preferably dimethyl sulfoxide, DMF, THF or hexamethoxy phosphoramide) in the presence of an esterifying catalyst selected from pyridine derivatives (preferably dimethylaminopyridine) or tertiary amines (preferably triethylamine) preferably at 80W100°C for 1W2hr to afford the aimed compound. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
