titleOfInvention 5-fluorouracil derivative
abstract NEW MATERIAL:The 5-fluorouracil derivative of formula I (R 1 is 1W10C fluorine-containing organic group which may contain S and/or O). n USE: A medicine. A carcinostatic agent, etc. It has excellent carcinostatic effect and low toxicity and is free from strong toxicity against digestive tract and dysautonomia in contrast with known 5-fluorouracil derivatives. n PREPARATION: The compound of formula I can be produced e.g. by reacting 5-fluorouracil of formula II with phosgene of formula COCl 2 in the presence of an organic base (e.g. pyridine) under cooling to -10W+10°C and reacting the resultant compound of formula III with a fluorine-containing amine of formula NH 2 R 1 at -10W+10°C. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
