abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a rubber composition suitable as tire side wall, having extremely excellent heat generating properties, weather resistance, bending fatigue resistance and ozone cracking resistance, consisting of modified polyisoprene rubber and polybutadiene rubber. n CONSTITUTION: A rubber composition for tire consisting of (A) 20W80pts.wt. modified polyisoprene rubber which is obtained by subjecting isoprene to solution polymerization by the use of an alkaline (earth) metallic material catalyst to give polyisoprene rubber containing the alkaline (earth) metal bonded to the molecular chain end and reacting the rubber with a benzophenone compound (benzophenones or thiobenzophenones), a compound (amide compound, imide compound, lactam compound, etc.) containing a bond shown by the formula (M is O or S) or and isocyanate compound (e.g. 2,4-tolylene diisocyanate) and (B) 80W20pts.wt. polybutadiene rubber (preferably high-cis polybutadiene rubber). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio |
