titleOfInvention Matrix for molding of optical element
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a uniform adhesive layer which is free from adhesion of trash or dust and irregularity of a coating, by forming a nonadhesive agent layer on the surface of a molding matrix to be formed on a resin layer on an optical glass base material through a vacuum metallizing method. n CONSTITUTION: A matrix 1 made of glass or a metallic material is set on a vacuum metallizing device. A material of a type where a slidable and perforated lid is arranged is used as a filament 3 of a slide port type. A necessary quantity of nonadhesive agent 4 from which solvent contents are removed is charged to the filament 3. A vacuum tank is exhausted, the matrix 1 is heated, the nonadhesive agent 4 is evaporated by electrifying the filament 3 and metallized on the surface of the matrix 1. When water is dropped on the surface of the matrix 1 which is taken out of a vacuum tank after leaving the same in the cold, the water is repelled without wetting the same, through which it can be judged that a nonadhesive layer 2 has been formed. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
