abstract | PURPOSE: To enhance dispersion effect, by preparing a dispersant from a polymer having a narrow M.W. distribution width obtained by the oxidative polymerization reaction of a vinyl polymer or alkylene oxide polymer having surface activity. n CONSTITUTION: A dispersant is prepared from a polymer having a narrow M.W. distribution width obtained by subjecting a vinyl polymer or alkylene oxide polymer having surface activity to oxidative polymerization reaction using ozone, light and peroxide. As the vinyl polymer having surface activity, there is a polymer of acrylic acid, maleic acid or styrenesulfonic acid or a derivative thereof. As peroxide used in the oxidative polymerization reaction, one kind or more of inorg. peroxide or org. peroxide is used. In the oxidative polymerization reaction, it is pref. to dissolve 100pts.wt. of the polymer in 100W200pts.wt. of a solvent and to add 0.1W20pts.wt. of a metal ion to the resulting solution. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio |
