abstract PURPOSE:To obtain photopolymerizable composition showing sufficiently sensitivity to a light source in each wavelength range, containing an addition polymerizable compound and a specific photopolymerization initiation system. CONSTITUTION:A photopolymerization composition containing (A) an addition polymerizable compound containing one or more ethylenic unsaturated double bonds (e.g. acrylic ester, etc.) and (B) B1: a novel sensitizer (e.g. 6- diethylaminobenzofuran-2-yl phenyl ketone, etc.) shown by the formula [ring A is benzene ring or naphthalene ring; ring B is hydrocarbon aromatic ring or heterocyclic aromatic ring; at least one of X and Y is -NR1R2 (R1 and R2 are alkyl); l, m and n are 1 or 0] and B2: an activator (e.g. hexaarylbiimidazole, etc.) to generate an active radical in the presence of the sensitizer under light irradiation. The amounts of the component B blended is ordinarily 0.1-20pts.wt. component B1 and 0.5-30pts.wt., component B2 based on 100pts.wt. component A.
