titleOfInvention Water-soluble monoazo compound and dyeing or printing of textile material using said compound
abstract NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I [R 1 WR 6 are H or (substituted) lower alkyl; B 1 and B 2 are (substituted)phenylene or (sulfonic acid-substituted) naphthylene; Y 1 and Y 2 are -CH=CH 2 or -CH 2 CH 2 Z (Z is group eliminable by the action of alkali); R 4 is H, methyl or sulfonic acid residue; R 5 is methyl, carboxylic acid or 1W4C alkoxycarbonyl; R 6 is OH or amino; A is (substituted) phenyl or naphthyl] in the form of free acid. n EXAMPLE: The compound of formula II. n USE: A dye for dyeing a textile material containing OH group and carbonamide group to yellow color. It is especially suitable for the dyeing of a cellulosic material. n PREPARATION: The objective compound can be produced by diazotizing an aromatic amine of formula A-NH 2 , coupling with a pyrazolone derivative of formula III, condensing the resultant monoazo compound with a compound of formula IV and cyanuryl chloride and finally condensing the condensation product with a compound of formula V. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
