PURPOSE: To produce the title composition having a low coefficient of thermal expansion and excellent bending fatigue resistance and low-temperature impact resistance, by adding a specified crosslinking agent to a mixture formed by melt-mixing (acid-graft modified) crystalline PP with an acid-graft modified olefin rubber. n CONSTITUTION: 0.05W5.0wt.% polar monomer such as an unsaturated carboxylic acid (dervative) is graft-polymerized with an olefin rubber (e.g., ethylene/1-butene copolymer rubber of an ethylene content of 30W90wt.%) in the presence of a radical reaction initiator to obtain an acid-graft modified olefin rubber (B) of an MFR of 0.01W20g/10min. A mixture obtained by melt-mixing 20W97wt.% (acid-graft modified) crystalline PP (A) of an MFR of 0.1W100g/10min with 80W3wt.% component B is mixed with 0.03W2.0phr of at least one cross-linking agent (C) selected from a diamine and a polyamine (e.g., hexamethylenediamine) and, optionally, crystalline PP (D) at a ratio to the mixture of 1:9:0.25. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio |
