titleOfInvention Pyridylmethylsulfide derivative
abstract NEW MATERIAL:A pyridylmethylsulfide derivative shown by formula I [R 1 is group shown by formula II, formula III or formula IV (R 2 is H or lower alkyl; R 3 is amino, phenyl or lower alkyl); n is 1 or 2]. n EXAMPLE: 1-Methyl-2-(2-pyridylmethyl)isothiourea dihydrochloride. n USE: Having pharmaceutical actions such as cardiac action, diuretic action, inhibitory action on blood platelet aggregation, antiedemic action or antihypertensive action and useful as a drug such as a drug for bronchodilator, calcium antagonist, cardiac, parasympathetic nerve suppressive agent, anti-stress ulcer or further antiedemic agent having immediate effects. n PREPARATION: For example, a thiourea derivative corresponding to a group shown by formula V or thiosemicarbazide derivative is reacted with chloromethylpyridine hydrochloride in a molar ratio of 1/1 in a polar solvent while stirring or under reflux to give a compound shown by formula I where R 1 is group shown by formula IV. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
