titleOfInvention | Ink for ink jet recording and ink jet recording using the same |
abstract | PURPOSE: To provide the title ink which is free from bleeding on a recording material having exposed fibers and has excellent fixability and which comprises a pigment, a solvent capable of dissolving or dispersing the pigment and a cyclic compd. having a plurality of pyranose rings. n CONSTITUTION: A desired ink is obtd. by adding a cyclic compd. having a plurality of pyranose rings to an ink for ink jet recording comprising a pigment as a component capable of forming an image and a liq. medium capable of dissolving or dispersing the pigment. Particularly pref. examples of the cyclic compd. include a cyclodextrin comprising at least 6 α-D-glucopyranose groups which are α-1,4-bonded, thereby forming a cyclic compd. The effect of the cyclic compd. is remarkable. Of the cyclodextrin compds., α-cyclodextrin having 6 glucose molecules bonded so as to form a ring structure, γ-cyclodextrin having 8 glucose molecules bonded and a maltosylcyclodextrin having a maltose bonded to the aforesaid cyclodextrin compds. for the purpose of improving solubility are most pref. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio |
