titleOfInvention Lipid metabolism improver
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a lipid metabolism improver having immediate effects free from side effects, containing a calcium hexose phosphate as an active ingredient. n CONSTITUTION: A calcium hexose phosphate (e.g. calcium glucose-1-phosphate) and, if necessary, a given carrier for preparation, excipient, etc., are pharmaceuti cally manufactured by a conventional procedure to give the aimed substance. The substance can be made into tablets, granules, capsule agents, oral adminis tration agent, etc. A dose is 0.1W20g, preferably 1W10g calculated as calcium hexose per person daily. Acute toxicity of mouse of calcium glucose-1-phosphate is ≥15,000mg/kg and the substance is extremely safe. Since the substance extremely lowers concentration of serum cholesterol, the substance is effective as a preventive and remedy for myocardial infarction, ischemic heart disease and hypercholesterolemia. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
