titleOfInvention Preventive and remedy for hypertension
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a preventive and remedy for hypertension having immediate effects free from side effects, containing a calcium hexose phosphate as an active ingredient. n CONSTITUTION: A calcium hexose phosphate (e.g. calcium glucose-1-phosphate) and, if necessary, a given carrier for preparation, excipient, etc., are pharmaceutically manufactured by a conventional procedure to give the aimed substance. The substance can be made into tablets, granules, capsule agents, oral administration agent, etc. A dose is 0.1W20g, preferably 1W15g calculated as calcium hexose per person daily. Acute toxicity of mouse of calcium glucose-1-phosphate is ≥15,000mg/kg and the substance is extremely safe. The substance can suppress rise in blood pressure and prevent and treat diseases such as myocardial infarction, cerebral apoplexy, liver cirrhosis, cholestasia, etc., wherein hypertension is considered one cause of crisis. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
