titleOfInvention | Immobilized enzyme |
abstract | PURPOSE: To improve production efficiency of cyclodextrin, by immobilizing a cyclodextrin glucanotransferase on a porous chitosan beads and continuously using the enzyme. n CONSTITUTION: A cyclodextrin glucanotransferase produced by a microbial strain of Bacillus genus, etc., is contacted with and adsorbed to porous chitosan beads in a buffer liquid. The porous chitosan beads can be produced by dealkalizing chitin existing in crustaceans, arthropods, etc., and forming the obtained chitosan in the form of granules or porous material having high adsorptivity. The adsorption strength of enzyme is further increased by bonding the porous chitosan beads with the cyclodextrin glucanotransferase by molecular bond using a crosslinking agent such as glutaraldehyde, epichlorohydrin, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio |
