titleOfInvention Laminar zirconia based single crystal fine particle and production thereof
abstract PURPOSE: To readily obtain a zirconia single crystal fine particle having laminar form, by heat-treating a blend of zirconium compound and flux at prescribed temperature. n CONSTITUTION: A zirconium compound (e.g. zirconium oxide, zirconium carbonate, etc.) is blended with a flux (e.g. lithium chloride, boron oxide, etc.). The blend is heat-treated at a temperature not lower than the melting point of the above-mentioned flux to deposit the zirconia crystal particle, which is then separated from the flux. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
