titleOfInvention Deodorant fiber structure
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a fibrous structure suitable for clothes, filters, bedclothes, etc., showing excellent and durable deodorant effects on various bad smells, comprising a fibrous material containing a direct copolymer of an unsaturated carboxylic acid, etc., and ethylene in a specific ratio. n CONSTITUTION: The fibrous structure comprising a fibrous material containing ≥8wt.% direct copolymer of an unsaturated carboxylic acid (e.g. acrylic acid, etc.) and/or an acid anhydride thereof and ethylene. For example, fibrous struc ture such as conjugated yarn obtained by subjecting a polyolefin (e.g. PP, etc.) containing ≥40wt.% of the copolymer and a fiber-forming polyolefin in a weight ratio of the former : the latter of 95:5W20:80 to conjugated spinning into side-by- side or sheath-core type, spun yarn obtained by mixed spinning of a fibrous material containing the copolymer and cotton, wool, various synthetic yarn, etc., woven and knitted goods, nonwoven fabric, etc., obtained from the spun yarn, etc., may be used as the fibrous structure. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
