titleOfInvention Production of sheet
abstract PURPOSE: To prevent lowering in properties such as the increase in electric resistance, the lowering in tensile breaking elongation or the like, by uniformly cooling the sheet brought into contact with a molding roll after ribs are formed on the sheet to lower the temp. thereof before releasing the same. n CONSTITUTION: 6W63 vol.% of a polyolefin resin, 7W42 vol.% of an inorg. fine powder, for example, fine powdery silica and 30W85 vol.% of an org. liquid, for example, dioctyl phthalate are respectively mixed, and the resulting mixture 1 is uniformly kneaded under heating by a double-screw extruder to be continuously formed into a sheet 4 by extrusion molding and said sheet 4 is pressed by a plurality of heated molding rolls 5, 5' to be subjected to emboss processing. Continuously, the sheet surface on the side opposite to that contact with the molding rolls 5, 5' is brought into contact with a cooling roll 7 held to temp. equal to or higher than the m.p. of the sheet at temp. lower than that of the heated sheet to lower the temp. of the sheet, and released from said molding rolls 5, 5'. Thereafter, the org. liquid and/or the inorg. powder are extracted from the cooled and solidified sheet by a solvent 8. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
