PURPOSE:To obtain a cosmetic for the skin and hair, containing a 3- polyfluoroalkyl-2-hydroxypropanol and having light touch, excellent setting power, durability as well as persistence without stickiness. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic containing a 3-polyfluoroalkyl-2-hydroxypropanol having a 3-20C, particularly 6-20C polyfluoroalkyl group. The amount of the 3-polyfluoroalkyl-2-hydroxypropanol blended in the cosmetic is about 0.1-20wt.% preferably about 1-10wt.%. The cosmetic is used as cream, toilet water, foundation, mascara, eye shadow, hair tonic, hair liquid, hair cream, hair rinse, cold waving solution, etc. |
