titleOfInvention Multi-color heat sensitive recording material
abstract PURPOSE:To provide a multi-color thermal recording material having excellent decoloring performance in low temperature coloring layer and excellent color separation performance, in a multi-color thermal recording material composed of at least one decoloring agent, two kinds or more dyes and one kind or more developer, by incorporating two kinds or more leuco dyes having excellent decoloring performance in the low temperature coloring layer. CONSTITUTION:Preferably, combination of leuco dye is composed of green, magenta yellow, cyan, magenta, etc., and combination of green and magenta is especially preferable. Any leuco dye being conventionally employed in this type of thermal material can be employed freely, for example leuco compound of triphenyl methane series, fluoran series, phenothiazine series, auramine series, spiropilane series, indolinophthalid series dye is employed. In order to obtain a two color thermally recording material, liquid containing dispersed or dissolved coloring dye, developer, decoloring agent, binder, etc., is applied onto a supporting material such as paper, synthetic paper, plastic film, etc., then it is dried, and said process is repeated.
