abstract |
PURPOSE:To obtain an infrared sensitized silver halide photographic sensitive material having improved reproducibility for line width by specifying a silver halide emulsion in the silver halide photographic sensitive material comprising silver halide emulsion layer contg. hydrophilic binder on a supporting body. CONSTITUTION:In a silver halide photographic sensitive material comprising silver halide emulsion layer contg. hydrophilic binder on a supporting body, said silver halide emulsion is infrared spectral sensitized and said silver halide is silver chlorobromide or silver iodobromide having 0.05-0.5mum mean particle size and <=20 monodisperse degree, contg. at least 50mol.% silver chloride. Further, said silver halide emulsion contains at least one kind of acrylic acid polymer. The ratio of the amt. of silver to the hydrophilic binder in the emulsion layer is 0.7-2.5, and the amt. of the whole hydrophilic binder is <=3.0g/m<2>. By this constitution, an infrared sensitized silver halide photographic sensitive material having superior reproducibility for line width and being suited to the use for scanner using semiconductor laser is obtained. |
