titleOfInvention | Production of plastic sheet having porous surface |
abstract | PURPOSE: To produce a plastic sheet having a porous surface, by dissolving two or more kinds of plastics having low mutual miscibility in a solvent, applying the resultant solution to a substrate, accelerating phase separation in the surface layer and passing the obtained film through a specific liquid, coagulating and drying the formed film. n CONSTITUTION: (A) Two or more kinds of plastics having low mutual miscibility, preferably vinyl chloride home(co)polymer and acrylonitrile homo(co)polymer are dissolved in a solvent and (B) the resultant solution is applied onto a substrate. (C) Phase separation of the surface layer is accelerated by a method for blowing vapor of a poor solvent, etc., and (D) the resultant film is coagulated in a liquid capable of dissolving the solvent used in the step (A) without dissolving the plastics. (E) The obtained film is then passed through a heated bath of the same system as that of the above-mentioned coagulating liquid at ≥60°C, preferably ≥80°C to advance elimination of the solvent and formation of a porous structure. (F) The film is then drained, dried and, if necessary, subjected to surface treatment, e.g. antistatic treatment, etc., to afford the aimed sheet. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio |
