titleOfInvention Manufacture of roller for feeding sheet
abstract PURPOSE: To prevent damage of a sheet and to prevent the occurrence of a slip, by a method wherein short wire materials are charged in a cylindrical magnetic field having the one being opened and the other being a closed bottom, the magnetic materials are attracted in an erecting manner on an peripheral wall surface in the magnetic field through the magnetic action of the magnetic field, and a material is poured to mold a roller. n CONSTITUTION: An electric magnet generating device by a coil is disposed on the outer periphery of a cylinder body 4 made of a metal having the one being opened and the other being a closed bottom. A metallic wire material having a given wire size is cut to specified lengths which are charged as short wire materials 3 in the cylinder body 4. With this state, a magnetic field is formed through energization, and the wire materials 3 are attracted in an erecting state along a magnetic force line on the inner peripheral wall surface of the cylinder body 4. A material 2, such as a light metal, e.g. aluminum, or a resin material is poured to mold a roller 1. Thereafter, the surface of the roller 1 is ground in a mirror-surface-like manner and further the surface of the roller 1 is chemically corroded. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
