titleOfInvention Production of filtration filter
abstract PURPOSE: To prevent liquid in filtration from being directly brought into contact with ceramic by coating the surface of porous ceramic with a synthetic resin soln. and then using the other solvent to remove the solvent incorporated in the soln. and fixing the synthetic resin thereon. n CONSTITUTION: An alumina ceramic filter which is regulated to 2μm mean pore diameter and has 2.5mm thickness is fitted to a filter and a 10% polysulfone/dimethylformamide soln. stored in a raw liquid tank 2 is permeated via a peristaltic pump 3 and both surfaces of the ceramic filter are lightly wiped off and thereafter it is introduced into water and left wherein for 30sec and a polysulfone membrane is formed on the surface. Then in case of exchanging the liquid incorporated in the raw liquid tank 2 with water and making it permeate through the ceramic filter 1 by the pump 3, only dimethylformamide is dissolved in water and removed. Colon bacilli does not permeated this filter and bacteriophage and DNA are not adsorbed but allowed to permeate. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
