titleOfInvention | Composition for forming light scattering film and formation of light scattering film |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a light scattering film by using a co-condensation polymer of tetraalkoxysilane and alkylalkoxysilane, glass base forming material, hydrophobic org. compd., hydrophilic org. compd. and a common solvent thereof. n CONSTITUTION: A mixture composed, by molar ratio, 0.05≤tetraalkoxysilane /(tetraalkoxysilane+alkoxysilane)≤0.95 is hydrolyzed with 1.5W5mol water and is subjected to condensation polymn., by which the co-condensation polymer is prepd. The polymer is dissolved in a solvent such a lower alcohol to prepare a soln. having 1W20wt.% concn. in terms of SiO 2 . Phosphoric acid is used for the glass base forming material and is added to the soln. at 1≤P 2 O 5 /(P 2 O 5 + SiO 2 )≤10 in terms of weight % of P 2 O 5 . For example, methyl phthalate is used for the hydrophobic org. compd. and ethylene glycol is used for the hydrophilic org. compd. These compds. are added respectively at 0.5W20wt.% to the co-condensation polymer soln. Such compsn. is uniformly coated on the surface of a substrate and is dried. The thin light scatterable SiO 2 film having the desired rough surface on the front is obtd. if such substrate is calcined at ≥450°C and the heat resisting temp. of the substrate or below. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio |
