abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a novel antioxidant capable of preventing neopentylpolyol ester-based lubricant oil from oxidative deterioration more effectively, by blending a trisnonylphenyl phosphite and specific alkylated diphenylamine in specified proportion. CONSTITUTION:The objective antioxidant can be obtained by blending (A) 1pt.wt. of a trisnonylphenyl phosphite and (B) 1-20(pref. 5-15)pts.wt. of an alkylated diphenylamine of formula (R is 8-9C alkyl). The amounts of the components A and B to be incorporated in said lubricant oil are, respectively, 1pt.wt. and 1-20pts.wt. each based on 100pts.wt. of the lubricant oil.
