abstract PURPOSE: To provide an additive giving the titled slurry capable of pumping, comprising a formaldehyde condensate etc. of naphthalenesulfonic acid and polyhydric alcohol ethylene oxide adduct. n CONSTITUTION: The objective additive comprising (A) a formaldehyde condensate (salt) of (alkyl)naphthalenesulfonic acid, with an average condensation degree 10W500 (pref. 35W100) and (B) a compound prepared by adding, to a polyhydric alcohol having in the molecule 3W6 active hydrogens, 3W150(pref. 5W30)mol per active hydrogen, of ethylene oxide pref. in the weight ratio A/B=65/35W95/5.
