abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain the titled trim parts with markedly reduced squeaky noise emitting during running of motor vehicle, by blending an ABS resin and epoxy group-contg. olefin copolymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective trim parts can be obtained by blending (A) 100pts. wt. of an ABS resin made from (i) pref. 5-70wt.% of conjugated diene rubber and (ii) pref. 95-30wt.% of at least two kinds of compound selected from aro matic vinyl compounds, vinyl cyanide and unsaturated carboxylic acid alkyl ester compounds and (B) pref. 1-25pts.wt. of an epoxy group-contg. olefin copolymer prepared by copolymerization between (iii) pref. 0.05-95wt.% of an unsaturated epoxy compound (e.g. glycidyl acrylate) and (iv) pref. 0.1-45wt.% of an olefin and/or ethylene unsaturated compound (e.g., acrylic acid alkyl ester) e.g., in the presence of a radical generator at 40-300 deg.C under 50-4,000atm. pressure. |
