titleOfInvention Crystalline complex compound of propargyl alcohols and tertiary diamines and separation and purification of propargyl alcohols using said compound
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain pure propargyl alcohols, by treating chemically or optically impure propargyl alcohols with tertiary diamines to form the titled crystalline complex compound, separating and purifying the complex compound and treating with an acid. n CONSTITUTION: A chemically or optically impure compound of a formula I (R 1 and R 2 are different substituent groups) is made to react with a compound of formula II (A is a group containing 2 C atoms as a chain which may have branches; R 3 WR 6 are aralkyl or 1W6C alkyl) [e.g. 1,4-diazabicyclo(2.2.2)octane] in a solvent such as alcohol, ether, hydrocarbon, at a molar ratio of 1:1.5W0.4 at room temperature and the reaction mixture is cooled to about 0°C to obtain a crystal of complex compound. The crystal is dissolved or suspended in a non-aqueous organic solvent and added with a dilute acid to obtain a chemically or optically pure compound of formula I. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
