abstract | PURPOSE:To enhance the durability of a recording material, by providing on a base a recording layer comprising an electron-donative colorless dye, an electron-acceptive compound and a fluoran derivative substituted by an alkylenebisamino group at the 2-position. CONSTITUTION:An electron-donative colorless dye, an electron-acceptive compound and a fluoran derivative substituted by an alkylenebisamino group at the 2-position are dispersed in a binder to prepare a coating liquid. The coating liquid is applied to a base such as a raw paper, a woodfree paper and a neutral paper, followed by drying to provide a recording layer, thereby producing a recording material. The fluoran derivative is represented by formula I, wherein each of R1 and R7 is H, an alkoxyl or the like, each of R2, R3, R5, R8, R9 and R11 is H, a 1-18C alkyl or the like, each of R4 and R10 is an alkyl, aryl or the like, and each of R6 and R12 is H, an alkoxyl, aryoxyl or the like. |
