titleOfInvention | Production of short-chain growth hormone releasing factor |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the titled substance effective against growth hormone deficiency such as dwarfism, in short time and high yield without using offensive mercaptan, by treating a compound having a specific amino acid sequence with trichloromethylsilane in the presence of thioanisole. n CONSTITUTION: The objective substance can be produced by treating (A) a compound corresponding to a short-chain growth hormone releasing factor having an amino acid sequence of formula (all amino acids except for glycine are L-isomers) wherein the 27th methionine residue (Met) is substituted with methionine sulfoxide [Met(O)] with (B) trichloromethylsilane in the presence of (C) thioanisole. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio |
