titleOfInvention Polymerizable phospholipid
abstract NEW MATERIAL:A phosphatidylcholine-type polymerizable phospholipid of formula I (n is 6-12; l is 13-21). USE:A microcapsule material, photoresist material and surface-modification agent for various materials. Since the compound is resistant to decomposition with phospholipase A2, a microcapsule having excellent stability in living body can be produced from the compound. PREPARATION:For example, the compound of formula II is activated e.g. by reacting with oxalyl chloride and condensed with a glycerol derivative of formula III usually in a solvent such as anhydrous THF in the presence of a reaction acceleration assistant (e.g. N,N-dimethylaminopyridine) at 0-30 deg.C. The obtained compound of formula IV is made to react with the compound of formula V in a solvent such as anhydrous benzene in the presence of triethylamine, etc.
