NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I [R 1 and R 2 are H, lower alkyl, lower alkoxycarbonyl, etc.; R 3 is H or lower alkoxy; m is 1 or 2; Y is alkyl, aralkyl, group shown by formula II (n is 1 or 5), etc.]. n EXAMPLE: 1-{2-[5-( 3-Methoxy-4-ethoxycarbonyloxyphenyl )-2,4-pentadienoyl]ami noethyl}-4-benzhydroxypiperidine. n USE: Useful as a remedy for nephritis, especially for chronic nephritis. n PREPARATION: An aldehyde derivative shown by formula III is reacted with a carbonyl compound shown by formula IV (Y' is alkyl or aralkyl) in a solvent such as THF, etc., in the presence of a base (e.g. sodium hydride) to give a compound shown by formula I (in the case wherein Y is alkyl or aralkyl). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio |
