titleOfInvention Treating and preventive agent for peptic ulcer
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a treating and preventive agent for peptic ulcer, containing a cyclohexane derivative as an active ingredient, having low toxicity as well as excellent antiulcer activity and particularly useful also for ethanol or serotonin ulcer. n CONSTITUTION: A treating and preventive agent for peptic ulcer obtained by blending a cyclohexane derivative expressed by the formula [X is =CH=CH-, ethynylene, vinylene or ethylene; Y is oxo or OH; R 1 WR 5 are H or alkyl; R 6 is oxo or -OR 8 ; R 7 is H or -OR 8 (R 8 is H or organic residue)] as an active ingredient with a carrier, excipient, diluent, etc., and formulating the resultant blend into a pharmaceutical by a conventional method. The dose thereof is 0.1W0.5mg as the compound expressed by the formula per day for an adult administered once W in several divided portions. 4-(1,4-Dihydroxy-2,6,6- trimethylcyclohexyl)but-3-yn-2-ol is exemplified as the compound expressed by the formula. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
