titleOfInvention | Positioning system |
abstract | PURPOSE: To position a circuit board stably regardless of its surface state by scanning a couple of positioning marks reciprocally with laser light passed through a slit which varies its opening part according to the specific interval of the marks. n CONSTITUTION: The couple of positioning marks (P) in the same pattern are arranged on the circuit board 6 at the specific interval. The laser output of a Nd:Ya laser (neodymium YA laser)1 for laser working forms its image on the board 6 through a total reflecting mirror 2, the slit 3 which varies the width of a rectangular opening according to the width of the marks P, and a lens 5. Further, the board 6 is mounted on an XY stage 7 and movable in an X axis and a Y axis, and consequently the marks P are scanned reciprocally. Diffracted light from the marks P is detected by a detector 8 through a beam splitter 4. Thus, a control circuit 9 stores a memory with position coordinate data 10 from the stage 7 and the output 11 of the detector 8 corresponding to each position and processes those data after the completion of the scanning to extract only signals from the marks P. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio |
