abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the titled composition outstanding in impact resistance and weatherability, developing no chalking, suitable for window frames for construction, etc., by incorporating a vinyl chloride resin with each specified amount of a chlorinated polyethylene, hydrotalcite group, etc. n CONSTITUTION: The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) 100pts.wt. of a vinyl chloride resin with a polymerization degree 600W3,500 with (B) 2W15(pref. 2.5W10)pts.wt. of a (non)crystalline chlorinated polyethylene with a chlorine content 20W50wt%, (C) 0.5W5(pref. 1W4)pts.wt. of hydrotalcite group with an average particle size 0.1W150μm of formula (Me is Al, etc.; a is 1W10; b is 1W5; c is 10W20; M is 1W8), (D) 0.5W5(pref. 1W4.5)pts.wt. of an inorganic substance with an average particle size 0.5W200μm selected from lead oxides, magnesium oxide, etc., and (E) 0.5W10(pref. 1W7)pts.wt. of an epoxy resin having in one molecule two or more reactive α-epoxy groups. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
