abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain a cosmetic having high stability, low irritation and improved inhibitory effects on tyrosinase activity, containing an extract extracted from Sarocodon scabrosus, a kind of mushroom, with an organic solvent, glycol and/or water as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:A beautifying cosmetic blended with 0.5-10wt% extract extracted from Sarocodon scabrosus, a mushroom of the genus Sarocodon of the family Phylacteriaceae with an organic solvent (e.g. alcohol, ketone, ester or benzene), glycol and/or water. The extract can suppress activation of enzyme tyrosinase participating in melanin formation and is excellent as a component for a beautifying cosmetic. The extract is obtained by extracting Sarocodon scabrosus with the organic solvent such as dichloromethane, etc., at room temperature for 5-20 days/time and once-twice. |
