CONSTITUTION:An agricultural and horticultural insecticidal consisting of an imino-substituted heterocyclic compound [e.g. 1-(3-pyridylmethyl)-2-(nitroimino) imidazolidine, etc.] shown by formula I [X is S, CH2 or N-R<2> (R<2> is H or alkylcarbonyl; R<1> is pyridyl or thiazolyl; m is 2 or 3; Z is NO2 or CN] and a carboxylic acid ester [e.g. alpha-cyano-3-henoxy-4-fluoro-benzyl 3-(2,2- dichlorovinyl)-2,2-dimethylcyclopropanecarboxylate, etc.] shown by formula II (R<1> is lower alkyl or cyclopropyl; X<1> and X<2> are H or halogen).
