titleOfInvention Exhaust gas desulfurizer
abstract PURPOSE: To prevent exhaust gas from drifting, and increase desulfurizing performance by providing a rectification plate in a duct, a drive control means to adjust the angle of the rectification plate and open and close the same, and a spray piping disposed integrally on the rectification plate. n CONSTITUTION: After being heat exchanged by a gas heater 4, exhaust gas 1 containing sulfur oxide which is exhausted out of a boiler is led to a connecting duct 6. Said exhaust gas 1 is rectified by a rectification plate 16, and cooled and dust-removed by jetting spray solution 24 out of a spray piping provided on a shaft supporting the rectification plate 16. The cooled and dust- removed cooling gas 25 is led to a desulfurizing column 7, passes through a gas dispersion plate 8 evenly and is desulfurized in a dust-removing section 9 and a mist catching section 10. During said process, absorbing solution 12 used for the dust-removing section 9 is compressively transferred to a spray solution circulating piping 23 and is used as spray solution 24 from the spray piping. Also, in case exhaust gas volume is varied, by adjusting the angle of the rectification plate 16, cooled gas 25 is passed evenly through inside the desulfurizing column 17. In case water circulating operation is carried out, the rectification plate 16 is totally closed. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio
