titleOfInvention Monolithic foam molding of skin material and core material
abstract PURPOSE:To prepare a monolithic foam molding having no defect in quality with good productivity, by setting a vent hole in a core material, and an exhaust hole connecting with the vent hole in a molding die, closing the vent hole before molding is started and opening it when a foam becomes to a specific hardness. CONSTITUTION:A specified amt. of a urethane raw material 13 is supplied on a skin material 5 being placed on a bottom force 3, while a molding die 1 is being opened, and a nozzle 12 of a supplying machine of the urethane raw material is being moved. As soon as the supply of the urethane raw material 13 is completed, the die is closed. By this time, a vent hole 7 of a core material 6 is closed by a lid 9. When foaming is completed, an air cylinder 10 is acted to move gradually the lid 9 backward and to open the vent hole 7. Compressed gas having been stored in the foam is thereby flown out of the molding die through the vent hole 7 and an exhaust hole 8. At this time, the foam does not flow out of the vent hole and no shrink mark occurs either, because curing of the foam has been rather advanced.
